FLORAL ORDERS NOW OPEN UNTIL JUNE 20th
The 2020 Miners Memorial is taking place under exceptional circumstances and the ceremony will be held as a virtual events live-streamed from the No. 6 Mine Park in Cumberland. To honour the tradition of laying bouquets, single roses will be available for a donation of $25 at the Cumberland Museum & Archives on Saturday June 20th from 11 am to 4:30 pm. We encourage individuals to visit the Cumberland Community Cemetery and the Chinese and Japanese Cemeteries throughout the day to lay their rose and to hold a moment of silence for those lives lost.
If you are unable to make it to the Village of Cumberland but would like to support the Miners Memorial event, you can purchase a single rose on behalf of an individual, organization, and it will be laid on Ginger Goodwins’ grave-site in the late afternoon on Saturday, June 20th. Proceeds support the events of Miners Memorial and the Cumberland Museum and Archives.
